After numerous discussions regarding timings and locations for their shoot, we all agreed that sunrise would be amazing, and it worked out perfectly. The previous day was a complete washout, but we were extremely fortunate that the morning was mild and clear. The ground mist also added extra drama to their portraits, amplifying the golden glow of the sun.
At that time of morning, especially on a Sunday, hardly anyone was about. We were able to go from location to location without being inhibited by other people in our shots. Both were extremely comfortable in front of the camera and needed very little direction from me. This created very natural poses and expressions in their portraits which I am all about. It’s also great practice when it comes to their wedding day, as I want them to be as relaxed as possible.
I had a great time photographing Janak and Jinaa. Its always a pleasure when we can have fun on shoots and this one was full of it. Looking forward to their big day in a couple of months time!
