Despite the cold and intermittent rain, both Janak and Jinaa were very relaxed when I met them in the early afternoon. I was able to take some great shots of Jinaa and her family getting ready in their nearby accommodation. Everyone was calm and in a joyous mood which is always a pleasure documenting.
Guests started making their way in from the cold into the stunning venue, warming themselves up in front of the open fire. Excitement was already building long before the suited-and-booted Janak arrived, welcomed his friends and family to his and Jinaa’s big day.
With everyone seated in The Rosewood Suite and the pianist providing ambient background music, the bridal procession made their way down the aisle. It was a wonderful ceremony with loads of laughs along the way which always provides great shots of them and their guests. With the champagne reception following, the couple braved the elements with confetti throwing outside, as well as some portrait shots within the venue’s beautiful grounds and inside the building.
The reception that followed carried on the celebrations with plenty of emotions, smiles and laughter.
I had the privilege of photographing Janak & Jinaa’s pre-wed shoot in London a few weeks before, and it is clear to see that they make a wonderful couple. It has been a pleasure getting to know them, and I wish them all the best for the future! Here are some highlights from their day:
