Photography has been in my blood from a very early age, and the main influence has to be my father. He always had his trusty old 35mm Olympus OM1 film camera with him whenever we had our family days out, making sure he created lasting memories of our family as we grew up over the years.
I have been a Graphic Designer for more than 10 years, but I am also fortunate to have another creative passion – photography. It all started when I picked up my father’s film camera from school, and have never looked back since. From street photography to travel, I was always experimenting with different techniques and honing my skills. Then one day I decided to take my camera to a family wedding, and instantly loved how there was an opportunity to capture so many unique moments in one day. It encompasses so many genres of photography, and most of which I had picked up through practice.
I could think of nothing better in becoming a wedding photographer, as it allows me to be as creative as I want to be. I get to travel the country, meet new people and capture their special days which will last long in the memory. Every wedding is different and it is my task to document everything that happens – the union of two families, the laughter, emotions and partying!
My style is unobtrusive, but I am not afraid to get involved in all the action. My aim is to capture those moments which are unexpected and ones that happen in a blink of an eye. Please have a look around my website which will hopefully give you an idea of the kind of photographer I am.
I would love to hear about your story and how I am able to document it in the only way I know how – with style, creativeness and passion. Contact me today!
