A year of incredible moments and personal joy

Well that went fast, didn’t it?! 2022 flashed before our eyes but it left incredible memories for the amazing couples that i’ve worked with.

Every wedding that I capture always leaves a beautiful, lasting memories for me, and this year was no exception. I never take what I do for granted. That’s when complacency kicks in which erases the joy and creativity that comes with capturing these moments.

I’ve loved every wedding I’ve documented in 2022. And the main reason I have is because of the awesome couples I got to work with. They were all so chilled and easy to work with. That comes from them believing in my vision and trusting that I will document their day the way they want.

They have taken me to weddings all around the country, to some truly beautiful and unique venues. Some of which I have photographed many times previously, and some for the very first time. But my approach always remains the same – photograph their wedding with fresh eyes, new ideas and enthusiasm.

2022 was also a year of great change for me and my family. We welcomed my baby boy at the beginning of the year and he’s been an absolute blessing. I made a conscience decision to limit the number of weddings I took on, purely so I can spend more time with my family. This in turn ensured that I stayed fresh and sharp when it came to documenting weddings.

And with that, I want to say a massive thank you to my wife and two beautiful children for supporting me through 2022. Also, thank you to all the amazing suppliers I have worked with around the country. It’s always nice to see familiar faces as well as meeting new ones too.

2022 was a brilliant year, and 2023 looks equally as exciting.

I have some really exciting weddings booked up for next year and can’t wait to get started. Like this year, I am limiting my availability so I can maximise my time with my family. And for now? I’m recharging my batteries, spending time with friends and family, and eating my bodyweight in Christmas food.
