The Bhaktivedanta Manor, otherwise known as the Hare Krishna Temple is based in Watford, Hertfordshire, and just outside North London.
The temple is located within 70 acres of land, which consists of farmlands, landscaped garden, lakes and wildlife. It is a working and living place for spiritual worship, and as soon as you enter the building, you feel a sense of a calming and spiritual influence. The grounds are spectacular, and you can easily find yourself walking around the peaceful gardens where you often see monks finding their own space to meditate.
Hindu weddings are conducted within the temple by their very own Priests, who are all wonderful at explaining the ceremonies within their intimate venue. Civil ceremonies can also be conducted within the temple.
I love coming to the Bhaktivedanta Manor as I always feel welcomed by the monks living here. As an Indian wedding photographer in Hertfordshire, it is a joy photographing around the venue and the grounds, as I always find new unexplored places for some creative shots.
