As mornings for couples shoots go, Kunal & Niki could not have chosen a better one for their pre-wed shoot in Regents Park, London.
The early sun was giving us some lovely light, so it was a matter of getting Kunal & Niki relaxed in front of the camera and for me to capture it all.
Regents Park certainly played its part in the portraits, but for me it was all about Kunal & Niki. They could have been anywhere in the world and they would have rocked their portraits session. Even though this was their first time doing a portraits shoot, they soon got into their stride which allowed me to capture some natural shots with hardly any direction.
The beauty of Regents Park is that there are so many natural backdrops for their shots. Keeping the session casual, we wondered around the park exploring where the light was the best and finding some interesting backgrounds. This was while dodging the crowds of people who were slowly getting out of their slumber and doing some exploring of their own.
It was great getting to know Kunal & Niki and seeing their relationship first hand. These sessions are great for getting to know one another and for the couple to feel comfortable in front of the camera. Looking forward to being their Asian wedding photographer – roll on the summer for what sounds like an amazing wedding!
