Best of 2019

Pushing creativity

It’s that time of year again where I get a chance to look back and reflect on all the amazing moments I’ve had over the last 12 months..

First and foremost, I want to thank all the amazing couples and families I’ve been lucky enough to work with over this period. It always humbles me to think how they put their trust and faith in me to create everlasting visual memories of their wedding events. I have had a great time in doing so, and this year has to be up there with the best in my photography career.

As an Asian Wedding Photographer, I have been fortunate to photograph weddings all over the country and experience some stunning wedding venues this year. From Southampton on the south coast to Harrogate in Yorkshire, as well as Cardiff in Wales to the Midlands, my journeys have been far, wide and exciting. Not to mention working with all the top suppliers in the industry.

On a personal level, I have really tried to push myself more creatively. I am always trying to develop and improve as a person as well as a photographer. For me, building relationships with my couples help massively to make sure I am accountable and have their best interests at heart. My aim at every wedding is to create something new and untried, while ultimately delivering exactly what my couples want and deserve.

I was able to do that more this year thanks to their support and trust. It’s also a real honour and privilege being welcomed into families like one of their own, rather than just a photographer. This allowed me to really get to know the family and capture moments that would otherwise go unnoticed. I also want to give a shoutout to the other awesome photographers who have assisted and helped me out on the weddings as well.

So onto my Best of 2019. It was super hard to narrow down my selection for this post. I can vividly remember each captured moment and all the emotions that were happening at the time. Nerves, excitement, love and hope. It’s more than just a picture. It is a feeling. And for my couples – I hope they get all the feels.

It’s been a brilliant 2019 and I can’t wait for the next one. Bring on 2020! So here goes… here are my favourites from 2019.

Big love and see you soon.

Bhav.
