Indian Wedding & Reception | Dunchurch Park Hotel | Warwickshire

Ricky & Jenna’s wedding and reception at Dunchurch Park Hotel in Warwickshire was a day full of laughter, tears of joy and excitement

A familiar setting

As an Asian Wedding Photographer in Midlands, I have had the pleasure in photographing at Dunchurch Park Hotel before. I have become quite familiar with the surroundings and where all the great spots for portraits are. And this venue has plenty!

There was no time to waste in the morning when I arrived. The first event of the day was the civil ceremony and while guests were making their way into the Great Hall, this gave me time for some portraits of Ricky on his own. While he was waiting for his bride in the hall, I visited Jenna in the bridal suite nearby to see how she was and to get a couple of portraits as well.

The celebrations in full flow

The civil ceremony was a lovely affair and afterwards, we took advantage of the break in the rain for some confetti shots and family portraits outside.

Now the focus switched to the Indian wedding. Ricky & Jenna along with all their family dashed away to their rooms to get changed. This gave us the opportunity to get some detail shots of the Mandap and setup which was to happen in the marquee.

Meanwhile, Ricky’s family had gathered at the main entrance for the start of the Jaan, where he was followed by his family in a classic Rolls Royce while colour smoke grenades were being waved in the background.

The greeting of the two families was wild with excitement, dancing and lots of happy emotions. The procession made their way to the marque where the Indian ceremony commenced after Jenna had made her entrance.

Once the ceremony had concluded, we had a chance to take some couples portraits in the beautiful grounds at Dunchurch Park Hotel.

A fitting end to an epic day

Now for the final celebrations of the day – the reception. Great food – tick, speeches and embarrassing stories – tick, and a packed dancefoor – tick. There were great moments everywhere and was concluded by an epic sparkler exit.

After meeting, booking and working with Ricky & Jenna on their pre-wed shoot in London, I could see what a great couple they are. Both are fun, outgoing, always up for a laugh and willing to try something different. It was an awesome day and I can’t thank them enough for choosing me to be their Asian Wedding Photographer in Midlands.

So many moments to choose from, and here are a few from their wedding:
