Benoy & Victoria’s beautiful and intimate outdoor wedding ceremony

There is kind of a running theme for couples during 2020–21. Benoy & Victoria had to postpone their wedding a few times due to ‘you know what’. But all was forgotten when their moment finally arrived. Part one of their wedding events, and first up was their civil ceremony.

A long time coming

Their wedding had been in my diary ever since I had first met them. Rewinding back 18 months to that day in Starbucks (which I soon found out was Victoria’s go-to coffee shop). Their plans had somewhat changed, and now they were having separate events for their Civil and Hindu Wedding & Reception.

So as you can imagine, Victoria was in an excited mood when I arrived at her place for getting-ready shots. Make up artist, Divya Seth Suri, was working her magic, while Victoria was chilling listening to Bollywood tunes in the background.

After documenting these moments as well as her family arriving, I soon made my way over to Langtons House in Hornchurch, where the ceremony would be taking place.

A beautiful venue fitting for the moment

Benoy and his family were congregating in the grounds of the venue, as I captured candid moments between their guests. Benoy was looking super smart in his Boss suit, while his family were helping him with the finishing touches.

It was the first time I have photographed at the Langtons House Orangery and what a beautiful structure it is. It’s just about big enough to allow a handful of people in, with an area for the guests in front on the lawn. And that’s where the wedding party started to make their way to and take their seats.

Benoy was front and centre as he watched his soon-to-be wife make her way to the Orangery accompanied by her mum. It was a beautiful ceremony on a gloriously sunny afternoon, and both Benoy & Victoria looked amazing.

The happiness on their faces were there for all to see as they turned to face their guests as husband and wife. It had been a long time coming, but it was definitely worth the wait for their friends and family.

In their element

Once the happy couple had finished brushing confetti off each other, we spent some time in the grounds of Langtons House for some beautiful portraits. These two rocked it in front of the camera. More often than not, they forgot I was there photographing them!

As an Asian Wedding Photographer in Essex, I’m really looking forward to their Hindu Wedding coming up this summer to carry on the celebrations. And also to work with Benoy & Victoria again. They make an awesome couple and it’s clear to see in their images. Speaking of which, here are some highlights from their epic day – Enjoy!
